Oscar Rios
Oscar Rios is an author of mythos fiction and numerous scenarios for Call of Cthulhu. He's the author of several Chaosium monographs including Ripples from Carcosa, Tales of Death and Darkness and The Ravenar Saga. His work has also appeared in many other monograph collections, including all editions of the "Halloween Horrors" series. Osk, as his friends call him, is a partner, staff writer and associate editor of Miskatonic River Press. His work appearing in their publications, New Tales of the Miskatonic Valley, More Adventures in Arkham Country, and their upcoming Tales of the Sleepless City. He is also the author of MRP’s first publication of 2011, The Legacy of Arrius Lurco, a campaign for the Cthulhu Invictus setting. As if all that wasn’t enough Oscar has also crossed into the realm of horror fiction, with a short story in Chaosium's "Cthulhu's Dark Cults” entitled "The Nature of Faith". When not writing Mythos scenarios or fiction, Oscar can be found behind the Keeper's screen running Call of Cthulhu rounds at conventions in the NY/NJ area, as well as the occasional Gencon and Origins. He is a native New Yorker and a married father of two. Oscar's nine to five has him sharing a space with human remains on a daily basis as the assistant manager for a crematory in Astoria, Queens. That's right; Osk deals with the dead for a living...oh, the irony!

Pete Abrams Pete Abrams
There was much rejoicing when Sluggy Freelance came into being in August of 1997. Its success (the website has over 200,000 page views daily) has had the pleasant side-effect of allowing the artist and his dedicated staff to work fulltime on the awardwinning online comic. Pete Abrams, a former freelance webdesigner, spends most of his life involved in some aspect of Sluggy's maintenance, and in some regards resembles one of the characters.

Tom Lynch Tom Lynch
Tom grew up in New York City, and fled to Lovecraft Country for college (Worcester, Massachusetts). This probably accounts for his getting caught up in Call of Cthulhu and being accused by campus security of "some kind of cult stuff." Miskatonic River Press represents Tom's foray into the professional side of Call of Cthulhu, having played the game and written numerous scenarios over the past sixteen years. Tom would also like his wife and children to know that he loves them and will be back from island hopping on R'lyeh very soon.
